1st SOUTH AMERICAN CONGRESS OF ANAEMIA

The city of Buenos Aires, Federal District of Argentina, served to start the first South American Congress of Anaemia, presided by Dr. Jorge Toblli, investigator nephrologist, current president of the AWG-Argentina, which gathered together important Scientifics from the region and neighbors. Complete modules were developed with updated topics in the diverse topics where anaemia exercises commitment with the human being. Medical speakers from Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and acknowledged professors from Argentina met in this great event, in order to measure the importance of the Anaemia’s management. Moreover, it is worth to highlight the participation of Dr. Peter Geisser (St. Gallen, Switzerland) who exposed about the “Pharmacologic Aspects in the Different Intravenous Iron Compounds and Their Therapeutic Importance”.
